Giving TET Lunar New Year Packs for Poor Children in Hospitals
Story: There are many children of poor families, suffering in the hospitals throughout Ho Chi Minh City. These children are too young to realise their illness or injury.
Problem: The Consular Club is aware of the importance of Tet Lunar New Year to the Vietnamese peoples and wanted to brighten it up for children in hospitals at that special “family” time.
Solution: The Consular Club funded and distributed 900 gifts to children in Cho Ray, Nhi Dong 1, and Nhi Dong 2 hospitals in the days leading up to the Lunar New Year. Gifts consisted of food, milk, and a new set of clothes to wear on the first day of the New Year.
