Providing Hearing Aids for Impaired Children in Ho Chi Minh City
Story: Many hearing impaired children come from poor families who cannot afford to buy their children hearing aids. The children who were able to attend school, relied on reading the teachers’ lips, and the use of sign language.
Problem: Because they were disadvantaged by this, the children were becoming deaf and mute. These kids were already disadvantaged in coming from poor homes and being hearing impaired.
Solution: The Consular Club was able to assist by funding audiograms and 100 hearing aids for these children
