Story:
L’ÉCOLE POUR TOUS – “GIA DINH CO DON” – The association was started by the Frenchman Dominique Broncard 15 years ago to help the children in two orphanages located in HCMC and the remote region of Loc Ninh, Binh Phuoc province.
Problem: Children living in the region are often living in poverty and are not able to attend school. They are therefore unable to work their way up and out of poverty.
Solution: The Consular Club’s faithful sponsorship of the scholarship program supporting 40 children from the Loc Ninh area has been instrumental in the program’s success. Some former scholarship students have graduated with IT engineering or electrical college degrees, some are becoming teachers and 3 are passing the 12th-grade exam.
