Story: The charity kitchen has been established by the “Retired teachers association” in 2010 and provides pupils with nutritious meals to ensure that they have enough energy for the day.
Problem: The charity kitchen facilities are in poor and old condition with high power consumption. The number of poor registered pupils as well as the number of poor people who sell lottery on the street and who are also eligible to have a free meal, is increasing, therefore the new industrial rice cookers are urgently needed.
Solution: The Consular Club sponsored two rice cookers for the charity kitchen. That way 300 people will benefit from a nutritious meal per day.
